Run For Water Wells
Nathan from Cold War Kids and Ben from Death Cab for Cutie are running to raise money for the non-profit organization Water Wells for Africa.
While their bands are on tour together during the month of April, the number of miles they run is being recorded in real time at www.runforwaterwells.com. Fans can follow along as they rack up miles, and are encouraged to donate $1 for every mile the guys run.
Water Wells For Africa is a grassroots non-profit that has installed over 100 water wells in drought regions of Malawi, Southern Africa, providing fresh drinking water to 150,000-200,000 Malawians per day. Their goal is to work toward installing 1,000 new wells in hopes to bring the same clean water to 2 million people in the region.

Rolling Stone: Death Cab at Philadelphia's Tower Theatre
Rolling Stone posted a review of the April 7th show at the Tower Theatre in Philadelphia, the first U.S. show on Death Cab for Cutie's spring tour. Death Cab will be on tour through April and the beginning of May, and returning to the road in July for shows at the Hollywood Bowl, Greek Theatre, Red Rocks Amphitheater, and more. Rock For Kids Auction
Rock For Kids are auctioning off two general admission tickets to Death Cab for Cutie's show at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago on April 17th. The auctions also include a signed poster and two passes to meet band before the show! Proceeds go to the charity Rock For Kids, which provides free, year-round music education to underprivileged and at-risk youth throughout the Chicago area.

Show Added: Salt Lake City, July 13
Death Cab for Cutie has added a show on July 13th in Salt Lake City, at the Red Butte Garden Amphitheatre. Opening at this show are Andrew Bird and Ra Ra Riot. 'The Open Door EP' Available Now
The Open Door EP is available today! You can buy the digital version of the five-track EP here or you can purchase the CD version from the Death Cab for Cutie Online Store. The CD version won't be available in stores until April 14th, so the band's online store is the only place where you can get the CD now. The EP will also be available for sale at upcoming shows starting in Philadelphia on April 7th.

Second Shows Added In Redmond, WA, Nashville, TN
Death Cab for Cutie have announced second shows in Redmond, WA at Marymoor Park, and Nashville, TN at Ryman Auditorium.
The additional show at Marymoor Park is scheduled for Sunday, July 19. Fan club tickets are on sale now at https://tixx1.artistarena.com/dcfc/. General on-sale tickets are also available now via Ticketmaster.
The second show at Ryman Auditorium is scheduled for Sunday, May 3. Fan club tickets go on sale April 1, and general tickets go on sale April 3.
